Water > See > Lebanese architecture To a domestic architecture spanning back to the Bronze Age, Lebanon has added layers and layers of imports from every civilization that has passed through the land, and even some who haven't (like that Tuscany). The result is a style that though hybrid, is still articulated onto consistent elements that make it recognisable. My mother is a lover of windows and doors: here is a sample of the collection she has gathered all over the country. Scroll right to browse the gallery. |
