The Lebanese Heritage series below, by Youmna Jazzar Medlej and Joumana Medlej, this series quickly grew to fill a much-needed but neglected niche: quality books about Lebanon for younger readers. Each volume is packed with information, to a degree often never found in other publications for the general public. They are also checked and corrected by authorities on their respective subject. However, they retain a simple language and detailed illustrations elucidating every part of the text, and so are accessible to children and casual readers. We can honestly say, then, that they target an age group "from 7 to 77", and are of interest to anyone who'd like to learn more about deeper aspects of Lebanon. The books have gained the appreciation of all age groups and are used by several schools around the country, and a few overseas.
