A figure of the Chinese art of spear play, Qiáng Shu. Zhen Ming means "brilliant pearl" and influenced the dress, which is a pretty faithful Chinese outfit of an early historical period. She's wearing a Chao Dai from much later, during the Qing dynasty: a belt from which hang 2 Zai Chui (ceremonial kerchiefs) and 2 pendant purses. They were worn by the Emperor of China and some high-ranking officials and spouses.Print available here
